Showing The Right Amount Of School Spirit

For dates and fun hangouts, parties, etc, you always want to look your cutest, but look like you’re not trying too hard.  This goes for school spirit events.  I’ve seen so many people overdo it and they look freaky instead of funky.  Here are some highly encouraged suggestions for school spirit dos and don’ts:

• DON’T use colored hairspray on all of your locks.
• DO use a strip of faux colored hair and pin it on.

• DON’T put face paint ALL over your face, neck and skin.
• DO put a single streak across each cheek.  Less is more.

• DON’T wear all articles of clothing that you own that are your school colors.
• DO select a couple main pieces and style them naturally with accessories, belts, suspenders, etc.

• DON’T be fussy about how cute you look with expensive clothing.
• DO focus on having fun with friends and making memories!
