How To Stay Awake In Class

Chemistry, English, Financial Literacy, Computer Tech, History… There are subjects and teachers that just tend to bore us to death and it’s hard to resist the temptation to doze off.  But good students need to stay awake through the long lectures etc. Here are some tips to try:
  • Sit up straight in your chair/desk.  The less horizontal you are, the less likely you’ll fall asleep.
  • Take off your warm hoodie, jacket, or coat.  The warmer you are, the more likely you’ll doze off.  Cold temperature will help keep your eyelids open.
  • Move a part of your body.  Tap your foot, swing your leg, etc.
  • Take notes (with fun colored pens) and try to focus on the lesson.
